Plantar Fasciitis involves the thick, fibrous tissue that runs from the heel to the base of the toes on the bottom of the foot called the plantar fascia. The injury results when the fascia is over stressed or stretched and, in some cases, actually tears.
Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) is the most common diagnosis for knee pain in athletic and nonathletic populations. This condition manifests itself as pain and/or tenderness beneath the kneecap (patella) or at the sides of the kneecap.
